Held from September 4-6, this year's event centred around the powerful theme Shape Your Future Growth, empowering attendees with the tools, strategies, and vision to lead their businesses into the future.
With 27 industry experts sharing their wisdom, the event was a resounding success, thanks to the contributions of our exceptional speakers, engaged attendees, and dedicated event partners. We are grateful to everyone who made this year's event unforgettable!
Leadership, Growth, and Future-Proofing Your Business
Day 1 began with a powerful session from Michael Sheargold, CEO of RER Network, titled What is Your Leadership Premium? Michael set the tone for the entire conference by challenging attendees to consider the unique value that exceptional leadership brings to their organisations. His talk highlighted how inspired leadership can elevate teams, foster innovation, and drive sustainable growth. It was the perfect start to a day dedicated to shaping the future through intentional leadership.
Next, behavioural scientist Milo Wilkinson took the stage with Insights into High Performance from a Behavioural Scientist. Milo offered a deep dive into the psychology of performance, revealing the science-backed strategies that top performers use to excel in real estate and beyond. Attendees walked away with a fresh perspective on how understanding behaviour can unlock potential—both for their teams and their clients.
Growth at Scale: Lessons from Industry Leaders
One of the day’s most buzzed-about sessions was 30X in 30 Months, where Kon Stathopoulos from McGrath shared his remarkable story of growing a business 30 times in just 30 months. Kon’s blueprint for rapid growth, from scaling operations to managing expansion, inspired attendees to think bigger and act bolder in their own business journeys.
After a networking break, Steve Maserow of Barfoot & Thompson led Creating and Maintaining a Great Culture at Scale, offering a roadmap for leaders looking to preserve their company culture through times of rapid growth. Steve’s practical advice for cultivating a strong, values-driven culture resonated with leaders focused on sustainable expansion.
David Gray from Elders Lifestyle Group followed with Being Highly Effective when Managing Multiple Offices, a session packed with practical strategies for juggling the challenges of managing multiple locations. David provided clear, actionable steps for ensuring each office performs at its best while maintaining operational cohesion across the business.
Reinvention and Future-Proofing
In Reinventing Your Business, Dane Atherton and Rob Forde of Coastal shared their journey of revamping their business to meet modern demands. Their insights into technology integration, client engagement, and operational shifts provided attendees with a playbook for staying competitive and future-ready.
The afternoon sessions focused on the technological and leadership shifts reshaping the real estate landscape. Josh Cobb of Stepps captivated the audience with AI Fear & Fascination: Why the Real Estate Industry Should Be Both Worried and Excited About AI. Josh explored both the disruptive potential and the incredible opportunities that AI presents for the real estate sector, encouraging leaders to embrace the future while preparing for its challenges.
Belinda Sinclair and Danielle Harmer of Domain Group followed with Shaping the Future of Real Estate through Innovation and Leadership, a session that underscored the importance of combining innovation with visionary leadership to drive long-term success. Their insights showed attendees how to lead with agility and stay ahead in a fast-evolving industry.
Building for the Future: Strategic Planning and Leadership Focus
As the day neared its close, Jamie Owen of Nelson Alexander led How Nelson Alexanders is Building for the Future, offering a comprehensive look at how his company is future-proofing its operations. Jamie’s focus on strategic planning and operational excellence provided attendees with valuable takeaways on building a resilient, growth-oriented business.
The final session, Maintaining Your Focus and Energy as a Leader, brought Michael Sheargold and Nicholas West from Nelson Alexander together to discuss one of the most critical leadership skills—maintaining energy and focus amidst the pressures of leading a business. Their session offered practical tools for staying sharp, keeping teams motivated, and leading with passion.
Property Management, Branding, and Expert Insights
Day 2 began with a focus on Your Property Management Engine, where Cathie Crampton from Belle Property delivered a Deep Dive into Profitability, Efficiency, and Growth. Cathie’s insights into how to optimise property management operations left attendees buzzing with ideas to increase both efficiency and profitability. Real estate leaders were guided through the essential elements of building a lean, productive team that drives growth without sacrificing service quality.
Next up, Spiro Drossos and Brendan Di Rago from Barry Plant took the stage with their session, Mergers and Acquisitions: The Dos and Don’ts in Property Management. Their hands-on experiences and practical advice provided attendees with the blueprint for expanding their portfolios through strategic acquisitions while avoiding common pitfalls.
One of the highlights of the morning was the engaging panel discussion, Have We Really Innovated in Property Management?, featuring Cathie Crampton, Tracey Kelly of Coronis, Chantelle Collin of BresicWhitney, and David Gray of Elders Lifestyle Group. The panel discussed the pressing question of innovation in property management, offering fresh perspectives on how to stay ahead in an ever-evolving industry.
Brand Journeys: Building and Sustaining Success
After a morning of operational insights, the focus shifted to branding with Andrew McCann of Jellis Craig leading a case study on Building a Great Brand. Andrew detailed Jellis Craig’s brand journey, providing a roadmap for creating a brand that not only stands out in the crowded marketplace but also resonates deeply with clients.
The session, What Makes Super Agents Stay and Not Create Their Own Brand?, featured Nick Frankel from Morton and Jeremy Rosens from Gary Peer. Their session tackled one of the biggest challenges facing agencies—how to retain top talent. Their insights were invaluable for leaders looking to build loyalty and prevent key players from branching out to start their own businesses.
Mark Kentwell of Presence Real Estate then offered his dynamic session, Fishing Upstream, where he revealed his approach to staying ahead of the competition by identifying opportunities before they become mainstream. His innovative strategies showed how forward-thinking agencies can gain a competitive edge in a rapidly changing industry.

The afternoon continued with Brent May of DiJones, who introduced his concept of the 90 Day Reinvention Sprint. Brent’s session provided attendees with a fast-paced, results-driven framework for transforming their businesses in just 90 days—a must-attend for those looking to spark rapid change.
Kylie Walsh from REGROWTH followed with a deep dive into Profit and Performance Insights, breaking down the key metrics that drive success. Kylie’s session was packed with valuable takeaways for optimising both financial performance and operational efficiency.
Finally, Emily Turnbull of TradeMe Property wrapped up the day with her session, Who is Brand You? Emily’s focus on personal branding resonated with the audience as she discussed how to position oneself and their agency in a way that builds trust and authority in the marketplace.
Day 3: Independents with Edge
On the final half-day, independent agencies received tailored insights on maximising independence and market dominance, with expert talks from Steve Kemp of Kemp Real Estate and Jordan Strudwick of STRUD Property. Zali Reynolds shared her journey with Shelter Real Estate, inspiring all to continue shaping the future of their businesses with resilience and innovation.
